About Scott Tyler
I am an F1 Doctor working in Cambridge. I graduated from the University of Cambridge with my MB BChir this year, and also hold an MSci from Imperial College London, as well as an LLM.
Throughout medical school I have been involved in teaching, and was recognised with a teaching award in final year. I have a lot of experience in working with students applying to medical school, and intimate knowledge of the application process and admissions, from initial conversations about motivations for medical school, to advising on drafting personal statements, and preparing for interviews and conducting mock interviews - both Oxford / Cambridge style, and MMI.
I always tailor sessions to the individual, and structure them in a way that will help the applicant to get the most out of the session.

I offer full, detailed reviews of Personal Statements for medical school applications, and provide detailed feedback on areas of improvement to help you stand out from the crowd and hit high-yield points.
I also offer follow-up discussion sessions of 30 mins / 1 hour to discuss your Personal Statement, if desired, where we can work together to explore motivations, reflections, and hone the narrative you wish to tell in explaining your passion for medicine.
*Mock Interviews*
I offer structured Mock Interviews, which are specific to the university you have applied to / have received an invitation to interview from. I offer interviews for both Oxbridge undergraduate + graduate-entry, and traditional MMI interview mocks. Throughout the session I will offer structured and detailed feedback, and will offer the opportunity to repeat questions to refine answers, as appropriate.
