About George
I am enthusiastic and place large emphasis on problem solving, independent thought and hard-work. When tutoring, I like to teach science and maths through logic and understanding, not simple memory exercises. In this way, I’m dedicated to helping others achieve success in the long-term.
Having taught my siblings and tutored in a GCSE science class, I’m well equipped to handle the challenge of GCSEs and A-levels. Furthermore, having excelled in my own Cambridge application, I would be keen to help Oxbridge applicants navigate the application process.
Personally, I am very ambitious and would like to combine my medical studies with a broader understanding of industry, in order to enter the biotechnology sector. Through my positions of responsibility on the executive committees of several Cambridge societies, I like to consider myself trustworthy and well-rounded.

George did one to one tuition over Skype with my son last year and helped him medical school interview preparation. George was extremely friendly and extremely well prepared and knowledgeable in the area. He went to extreme lengths in terms of finding out specific medical school questions from the universities my son had applied to and also participating in mock role play scenario's. From these sessions it was evident to see that my son became more confident and comfortable in answering interview questions.
George provided excellent support and worked through systematically. We noticed an impact on our daughter's level of confidence immediately. As well as covering content the reinforcement of learning really helped. The online format made the sessions accessible and convenient.Thank you.
