About Teddy
I am a Cambridge Applicant taking a gap year to gain work experience, but in this period I also aim on reinforcing my knowledge through teaching.
I studied Economics, Geography, Maths, French and EPQ at A-Level, with A* predictions in all of my subjects.

In our 1 hour sessions there will be three 20-minute stages; firstly, a general knowledge and skill phase in which your long-term development in the subject is prioritised. Secondly, we will do a 'deep dive' explanation on one specific sub-topic that you may find particularly difficult or need support on at the time. Lastly, we will cover some exam-style questions which improve your exam technique and prepare you for summative and formative assessments. I will also set some brief homework at the end of each session, which may be a Quizlet page to prepare for our next session with, or a further set of exam-style questions which help with revision.
I am experienced in working effectively with young people. In my Head of Faculty role in the sixth form, I regularly conducted free tutoring sessions with GCSE and AS level students and found that my assistance greatly improved their confidence in their subject and also their grades. I am also experienced and qualified to coach American Football and Rugby, which introduced me to helping young people improve and excel.
My sessions covering Economics, Geography, Maths and French are aimed at year 10 and 11 students undertaking their GCSEs, but I am also willing to tutor AS level students in Economics and Geography, as these form the basis of my undergraduate application.
