About Jake
My name is Jake and I am a recent graduate from the University of Cambridge, graduating with a Class I in Philosophy. I have offered previous tutoring in Oxbridge and Russell Group Admissions and have been successful in securing Russell Group and Oxbridge offers for my students. I know from personal experience how long and how daunting the university application process can be, and it often feels that there is little information out there about exactly what the top universities are looking for. I am here to provide that information for my students. Having only very recently undertaken the process myself, as well as helped others through the process in recent years, I am well-informed on how to make your application truly stand out!

Based on my personal experience in receiving 5/5 offers myself (including from Cambridge, Edinburgh, St. Andrews, UCL) and from my past success in securing Oxbridge and Russell Group offers for my tutees, I can offer informed and detailed advice on university admissions and general writing advice. I can provide help with personal statements (including their new form), interview and admissions test prep. My session can include prep for the PhilAT, TSA, LNAT, and Cambridge admissions tests including English Admissions Test. (I do not offer tutoring on the CAT, MLAT, or any STEM admissions tests) I can begin my sessions at whatever stage you are at in the application process! I can offer a few sessions, or several, whatever works best for your current progression through the application process. I also offer tutoring in Philosophy and Religious Studies A-Level, and GCSE Religious Studies.
