About Zoe
I am currently a second yr student at Cambridge studying economics and maths with over 200 hours worth of tutoring experience.
My main areas of focus are genuinely understanding the content and time management. As I myself have dyslexia, I understand the struggle with time management but by learning proper exam technique and by doing a lot of timed practise questions, I have helped many students complete their papers and have time to review which makes assessments less of a daunting and stressful experience.

My lessons are structured by the following:
-> first 20 minutes
Explaining the key concepts and making sure the reasoning is understood. I find that often when the foundations are not fully understood, then it takes much more time overall trying to power through the syllabus since it is cumulative. For example confusion with surds and indices will make differentiation, trigonometry, sequences difficult.
-> second 20 minutes
I will go through practise questions together with the student showing them how to lay out their answers. In both maths and economics, there are ways to lay out working to get the maximum amount of marks in a short time. Will help with time management.
-> third 20 minutes
I will give the student some more past paper questions which they would do more independently under timed conditions.
This is not a set timetable but more a template which I would adjust according to the individual students.
