About Louie
Hi, my name is Louie. I am a Cambridge based graduate with a degree in BA Politics (2:1) and an experienced surf coach. I have excelled throughout my academic career, achieving top grades at GCSE, A-Level and in my university dissertation. I hope to help my students reach the same heights.
In my 2 years working as a surf coach, I have become accustomed to teaching students of all ages. I am used to giving helpful and constructive feedback, improving student understanding and performance, and ensuring those I teach remain engaged and enjoy themselves. Learning should be fun!
I am comfortable tutoring students working to AQA, Edexcel, OCR and other syllabi to a high standard. I offer a calm and friendly approach to tutoring, with a view to forming a good relationship with my students and making learning as stress free as possible.
To help make tutoring accessible to all in these trying times, I will be tutoring online, via skype, zoom or a platform of your choosing, and setting my rate as low as I can afford. Keeping the mind sharp and engaged will hopefully make social distancing and isolation a little more bearable!

SUBJECT TAUGHT: SURFING
I am writing to confirm an excellent reference for Louie Dawson. Whilst Louie was working for us at the surf school he was always punctual, flexible, hardworking, enthusiastic and made each of his lesson thoroughly enjoyable for all the pupils. He also made sure each of them received the information they needed they needed to achieve the lessons aims and sufficiently move them on in their skill level and life as a surfer.Louie is great. He's thoughtful, sensitive and patient as well as bright and confident. I taught him in the third year of his undergraduate degree and he was one of the top students in the class.
