About Michelle
I am a Credentialed Teacher from Calabasas with a Master's Degree in Education and over 15 years experience teaching and tutoring. I have taught a diverse student population over the years. My goal is always to understand student needs and work to meet those needs while encouraging students to appreciate their strengths. I value the individual gifts each student possesses and want to help each child reach his or her full potential, while building confidence.
I have learned many creative ways to motivate students to learn. Throughout my classroom experiences, I have learned that children have different learning styles. Therefore, I design every lesson based on the students learning styles. I also stand as a role model and mentor for my students. Through tutoring, I have helped students succeed by creating a positive environment that fosters learning. By emphasizing organization and establishing structured routines, I am able to help students grow and achieve their academic goals!
