About Sonya
Returning to mathematics after a long hiatus is often intimidating, and I admit my feedback can sometimes feel blunt to those unaccustomed to directness. My role is to bridge the gap between technical execution and the sound judgment required to solve complex problems, which is why I specialize in area and volume, implicit differentiation, and curve sketching. Optimization problems and applications of derivatives are areas where I see students struggle the most, yet these topics respond well to consistent, rigorous practice.
I focus on developing your intuition so you can confidently tackle integrals, sequences, series, integration by parts, and Taylor series. I'm excited to help you achieve your individual learning objectives.
