I have a teaching diploma and a B.Comm degree from UNISA, majoring in Accounting, Economics and Business Economics. I taught for thirty years, lectured for a year and a half at NMU, started a business with my wife and facilitated financial management courses to public servants

My passion for teaching defines me. I started teaching at the age of twenty one and took early retirement at the age of fifty. I lectured Accounting and Business Studies to first second and third year students in the Education faculty at the PE Technicon (now Nelson Mandela University). MY wife and I started a business in 1999, offering Indian clothing, then branched out to a Singer sewing machine franchise dealer in Port Elizabeth. My son has taken over the running of the business. I was fortunate in securing a position as facilitator for Regenesys and the National School of Government in Supply Chain and Financial Management for public servants throughout the country
