About Sara
I am a dedicated mathematics tutor with three years of experience working with students aged 8 to 18. My teaching approach focuses on helping students truly understand the logic behind solving problems rather than simply memorising formulas. By breaking equations down step by step, I guide students through the reasoning process so they can build confidence and develop strong problem-solving skills.
I believe that when students understand why a method works, they become more independent learners and are able to tackle new challenges more effectively. My lessons are typically one hour long and are structured to ensure that each student fully understands the concept before moving forward.
Having previously tutored a wide range of students, I adapt my teaching style to match each student’s pace and learning needs. My goal is to create a supportive and structured learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and improving their mathematical abilities.

I believe the best way to learn mathematics is by understanding the process behind solving a problem rather than memorising formulas. My approach focuses on breaking equations down step by step so students can see how each part contributes to the final solution. When students understand the reasoning behind each step, they become more confident and are able to identify what is missing and how to solve similar problems independently.
This is also the way I like to teach. By guiding students through the logic of a problem, they develop strong problem-solving skills instead of relying on memorisation.
I previously tutored mathematics for three years, working with students between the ages of 8 and 18. Lessons are typically one hour long and structured to ensure students fully understand each concept before moving on to the next.
