About Gerard
I am a recent IB Diploma student with a predicted score of 39/45. I took Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches HL, Computer Science HL, Business Management HL, Global Politics SL, English Language and Literature SL, and German ab initio.
I specialize in IB Business Management tutoring, but I also have experience across my other IB subjects and can support students who need help understanding content, improving exam technique, or preparing for assessments in these areas.
Having recently gone through the IB myself, I understand the workload, expectations, and exam structure, and I focus on helping students study more efficiently and improve their results through clearer strategies and better exam performance.
I also have experience with the Singapore university application process, including applications to institutions such as SMU, NTU, and SUTD, and can provide guidance to students interested in studying in Singapore or planning their university pathway.

I help IB students in Business Management improve their grades by focusing on exam technique, case study analysis, and Internal Assessment structure aligned with IB marking criteria. I am a recent IB graduate, so I understand the course demands, exam format, and common mistakes students make, and I focus on what actually leads to higher marks.
My lessons are practical and results-focused. We work directly on improving past paper answers, strengthening evaluation skills, and making sure students understand how to structure responses to meet exam expectations.
Each session is adapted to the student’s needs, whether that is exam preparation in general, IA improvement, EE, TOK or clarifying key Business Management concepts. The goal is to make the subject clearer and to help students consistently turn knowledge into higher scores.
Students leave each lesson with clear feedback and specific actions to improve their performance.
