Megan tutored me through my higher business course and put so much effort into my learning and never gave up on me. She was very understanding and hardworking and I could tell she wanted me to do my best. She helped me get from a 15% mock grade to an A in my final exam. Megan also taught me vital studying techniques which I could use for my other subjects and helped me to understand which studying methods worked best for me. I continue to use Megan’s studying methods while at University and the encouragement she gave me I have never forgotten and will always appreciate.

I have worked alongside Megan for the past three years in the same school and faculty, and during that time I have seen first-hand what makes her such an effective Business Education teacher. She works with pupils in Business Management and Admin & IT subjects from S1 to S6 across National 3 to Higher, and is particularly skilled at building positive relationships and helping pupils feel more confident in their abilities.

Megan's greatest strengths are her patience and resilience. I have seen her go above and beyond to support pupils who can be challenging to engage, consistently remaining positive and finding ways to encourage them to participate and make progress. She has a real ability to build the confidence of pupils with low self-esteem, which in turn helps them raise their attainment.
