For business students, I teach from a real world perspective because of have many years of business management and sales experience. This experience can help students apply the tools they are learning. I can teach both high school and college students. I recently started a brand new CTE Business Program at a private high school in my home state. A typical lesson plan will have identified objectives that the student will learn with assignments that will give them the opportunity apply what is being learned.
When teaching Algebra and working as a math interventionist, I can individualize my lessons based on the needs of my students and can breakdown the process of solving math problems.
