About Kellie
Bonjour ! I have studied French since childhood and grew up around French-speaking family and studied French in K-12, although English is my first language. I continued developing my French as an adult through several years of one-on-one study with a native French tutor and am currently preparing for the DELF B2 exam.
Because I have experienced the language-learning process myself, I understand how important confidence, patience, and consistent practice can be. I especially enjoy helping learners move beyond simply knowing the rules to feeling more comfortable actually using French in conversation, school, work, travel, and everyday life.

My lessons are supportive, practical, and tailored to each learner’s goals, level, and learning style. For Grades 4–12, I can provide support with schoolwork, vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, and conversational French, including Core French and French Immersion. College and university students can focus on reinforcing coursework, grammar, writing, and conversation, while adult learners can focus on conversation, vocabulary, grammar, travel, or personal enrichment.
I combine structured learning with plenty of opportunities to actually use French. My goal is to create an encouraging environment where questions and mistakes are part of learning, while helping each student steadily build both their French skills and their confidence.
