About Chè
I’m originally from Texas by way of Brooklyn, but I’ve spent much of my life living, teaching, and learning in different parts of the world. Having worked with students from many different backgrounds, I know that learning English is not just about knowing the grammar. It’s about understanding what you’re reading, knowing what the question is really asking, and feeling confident enough to give the right answer.
That’s what I focus on in my lessons. I help French grade school students prepare for their English exams by working on reading comprehension, vocabulary, exam techniques, and the types of questions they are likely to encounter.
My goal is simple: to help students walk into their exams feeling prepared rather than stressed, and to give them practical strategies they can actually use on their own.

I help French grade school students strengthen their English reading comprehension and prepare with confidence for their exams. Lessons focus on understanding texts, building exam strategies, practicing key question types, and learning how to approach challenging passages without feeling overwhelmed (most especially the oral exams).
With my TEFL background, I use clear, practical methods that make exam preparation feel focused and manageable. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s level, with guided practice, targeted feedback, and plenty of opportunities to improve.
