About Allyza Sunshine
Hi! I’m Allyza Sunshine, a BSIT graduate and a dedicated tutor who enjoys helping students understand lessons in a simple, clear, and engaging way.
I believe that every student learns differently. Some students may need more time, additional examples, or a little encouragement before they feel confident answering on their own. That is why I take the time to understand each learner and adjust my teaching approach according to their needs and learning pace.
My goal is not only to help students complete their schoolwork, but also to help them develop better understanding, confidence, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude toward learning. I prepare lessons and activities based on the student's level and make sure our sessions are productive while still being comfortable and enjoyable.
With my background in Information Technology, I am also comfortable using digital tools and technology to create interactive learning materials and support online lessons.
Whether your child needs extra academic support, wants to strengthen their skills, or simply needs someone patient and encouraging to guide them, I would be happy to help them learn and grow.

My approach as a tutor is patient, supportive, and personalized. I believe students learn better when lessons are explained clearly, connected to real-life examples, and adjusted to their individual learning pace.
I begin by understanding the student's current level, strengths, difficulties, and learning goals. I use simple explanations, guided practice, questions, interactive activities, and examples to help students understand concepts rather than simply memorize answers. I also encourage students to ask questions, share their ideas, and try solving problems independently.
A typical lesson begins with a short review or warm-up activity, followed by the introduction of the new topic. We then work through examples together, practice the skill through activities or exercises, and finish with a short review or assessment to check understanding. I may also provide simple practice activities for the student to work on after the session.
What sets me apart is my combination of a technology background and a student-centered approach. As a BSIT graduate, I am comfortable using digital tools, interactive materials, and technology to make lessons more engaging. I also adapt my teaching style depending on the student's needs, whether they need additional explanation, more practice, encouragement, or a greater challenge.
My lessons are suitable for Kindergarten to Senior High School students, including learners who need additional support in Math, English, Science, Filipino, Reading, Writing, Computer Skills, and other academic subjects. I offer both one-on-one and small-group sessions and aim to create a comfortable environment where students can learn at their own pace and build confidence.
