About Eyad
I graduated from Faculty of Dentistry with distinction with honours, and worked for one year as a GP dentist. I then started my MSc in Regenerative Dentistry at King's College London in 2020, where I learnt about molecular biology and regenerative medicine. I moved on to work with genetics for one year then proteomics for another year at King's College London as a Senior Research Technician. Now I have moved to my PhD position at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and University College London, studying genetic architecture and its association with susceptibility to diseases using bioinformatics. I am a very friendly guy and I struggled to get to where I am, so I know how hard it can be to understand the scientific language, and I learnt approaches to how you can learn it too. I am very passionate about life, dreams, and goals. You can talk with me around our sessions about your dreams, what you want to achieve in life, and all things philosophical! Due to my age and passion for life, I believe it is very easy to find a friend rather than a strict tutor.

My lessons are usually a maximum of 90 minutes going through the materials specific to your modules. I tend to start from the very basics relevant to your current knowledge, and go from there all the way to the end point (e.g. experimental setup, biological processes, etc). I teach at very basic level and make sure my teaching is accompanied by examples of real life implications so I put the knowledge and science in real life context for your understanding. I am very flexible in session times and have the availability over weekends and evenings. You are more than welcome to reach out with questions at any time outside of the sessions and free of charge.
