About Nyambura
My name is Sharon Mugo and I am currently pursuing my master in Financial Technology at Dublin Business School. Prior to that, I studied Financial Engineering at Strathmore University. These degrees have allowed me to study multiple mathematical and economic concepts at the university level before specializing in Finance, FinTech, and Financial Analysis. My path has allowed me to explore my passion for all things math and I hope to pass this on to my students and help them gain confidence in the subject. Whilst at university, I took on mentoring roles helping new students with their academic problems and settling into university life. This means I am well equipped to deal with all the unique issues students might have.

One of the most important parts of tutoring is communication as everybody is different and has unique learning styles. Therefore I will ensure to tailor my teaching to each pupil and encourage them to ask me any questions they have.
My teaching will focus on problem-based learning to ensure develop the student’s exam technique, allowing the student to actively solve problems and apply their understanding and knowledge of the subject.
