About Georgia
I have just graduated from the University of Liverpool with a degree in Pure Mathematics with a Semester in China & a Semester in Industry. My 7 years' experience in tutoring involves placements in both primary and secondary schools, private tutoring, volunteering with charities and outreach work with the University of Liverpool. I have a full DBS processed in Aug 2020. I love building people’s confidence in Maths and can’t wait to hear from you :)

I begin my first session talking through the student's areas of strengths and weaknesses. I then make a plan to tackle these areas for the future. Most of my lessons are based around being able to apply the methods we learn to questions so that the students feel confident doing so when the exams come around. I also focus on getting the student to explain the process back to me to ensure understanding and always emphasise that it is good to make mistakes as this teaches us not to do this in the future.

I know Georgia through CTI (Coronavirus tutor Initiative) which recommended me her to help me with maths A-level.
I would really recommend Georgia because she really helped me to understand how to tackle maths A-level exam style questions which I was finding very hard to start with, especially the questions worth the most marks on the paper which at first may look frightening. However, she helped me, by explain very well how to approach the question and what to highlight from the information that they given us, this then helped me to understand what the question is asking me to do.View more recommendations
