About Lera
Hello, I’m Lera!
I am currently studying BSc Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). The reason I have chosen to study economics at university is due to its multidisciplinary nature, a particular quote that captures this is one by Keynes, “He must be a mathematician, historian, statesman, philosopher- in some degree”. This highlighted to me that economics combines a magnitude of fields- maths, history, politics, geography, philosophy, and so much more; this means that there truly is a field of economics for everyone’s liking!

Previously, I have tutored students in Maths, Economics and History A-Level, as well as helping students with their 11+ preparation; I think it is truly rewarding when I see that my assistance has helped others to reach their full potential. I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing students gain more confidence in their academic abilities and achieve the grades they set themselves to attain.
In order to ensure that students achieve their goals, I make sure to speak to the student to understand the areas of the subject with which they have had difficulty with. I then tailor my lessons around those specific topics meaning that the lesson includes theory, past exam style questions and also a quiz at the end in order to make sure that the student has really understood the topics discussed.
In order to prepare for my lesson, I create clear lesson plans to ensure that the lessons are delivered with clarity so that they truly help the student.
I look forward to helping more students achieve the grades they wish to attain!
