About Sam
I am a recent graduate in German and Russian language and literature, and have begun work as a professional translator. As a result, I have a wide knowledge of linguistics and complex grammar. My particular passion is for literature, world literature and English literature, which I studied at A-Level (grade A).

I offer lessons in English Language and English Literature for the 11+ entrance exams, GCSE, and A-Level. I ask my students to complete reading, or linguistic exercises, in between the lessons so that we can focus on analysis, commentary, and exam technique during the lesson itself. I graduated in 2024 with a BA in German and Russian from the University of Bristol. I received a grade A in A Level English Literature and A*s in English Language and Literature GCSE. Lessons are typically 60 minutes, but I am very happy to agree on an alternative!
