About Eleanor
I graduated from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in 2010. My screen work includes Mike Leigh's Mr Turner, Harlots, The Crimson Petal and the White, Case Histories, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Casualty (BBC) and Midsomer Murders (ITV). My theatre credits include Versailles (Donmar Warehouse), Pride and Prejudice (Sheffield Crucible), Closer Scrutiny (Orange Tree) and All's Well that Ends Well, King Lear, Hamlet and The Cherry Orchard for Shakespeare at the Tobacco Factory in Bristol. I am the co-Founder of Neon Candle Theatre, a Bristol-based gig-theatre company. I wrote our first show Dance to the Bone, performed at The Sherman Theatre, Cardiff in 2022. Before training as an actor I achieved a first-class degree in English from the University of Nottingham. I moved back to Bristol three years ago with my husband and two children. I am currently the Speech and Drama teacher at The Downs Prep school, preparing 90 students aged 5 - 13 for their LAMDA exams. I also work as a drama facilitator with West End in Schools, teaching drama, history and PSHE workshops in Primary Schools.

Perfect! Very knowledgeable with lots of experience in the world of acting and theatre. She really helped me to realise where I wanted to go with my career and has helped me to start writing screenplays after initially focusing on getting into drama school (I changed my mind and now want to write instead). She is very passionate and has helped me improve in leaps and bounds even in just the past few months. I would highly recommend working with her.
