About Amos
I'm a local Brighton-based musician and Teaching Assistant. I've been gigging, writing, self recording and releasing music for over 10 years, most recently with my band 'Nagasaki Dog'. I found my love for teaching kids when I started volunteering in my old primary school 4 years ago. Since then, I have found nothing to be more rewarding or enjoyable than working with children. It felt natural to combine two of my passions so I decided to start teaching kids to play guitar. My aim is to make learning engaging, simple
and pressure free, and to give them an exciting start to their musical journey.

As a self-taught guitarist who didn’t enjoy conventional lessons, I know how important it is for kids to feel excited about what they’re learning. Whether your child wants to get to grips with the basics, play their favourite songs, read TAB, start songwriting, or just learn enough to get started on their own self-taught journey, I can tailor lessons to their needs. Through encouragement and patience, I’ll look to build your child’s confidence and ability in a relaxed atmosphere.
