About Martin

nice to meet you! I’m Martin. I’m 19 years old. I am a native Spanish speaker and since the last two years I have been passionate about teaching. I have had the fortune to teach more than 20 people the safety requirements and basic techniques of rock climbing and more than 50 people on subjects like math, biology, chemistry and Spanish literature. About the lesson

As a climbing instructor and math tutor (while in school) I have managed to adapt multiple teaching methodologies depending on the level I am teaching, special needs and the subject I am teaching. I have a 2-1-0.5 rule. 2 hours of direct study a week (meaning classes and/or homework). 1 hour of indirect learning (watching videos, films and listening to music). And 30 minutes of personal goal setting/feedback (writing down what has the student learned since the last class and how have they felt regarding their independent study)
