About Maheen
I received my bachelors degree in psychology from the University of Houston in 2019 and then set out to find what I wanted to pursue in the field. After a few short months of searching, I stumbled upon ABA and fell in love with the science, the various applications of it, and the opportunity to be creative. I pursued graduate school at the University of Southern Maine and earned my Masters degree in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in ABA in 2021. I spent the first 3 years of my career working as an RBT - two years working with teenagers and adults, and the last year working in early intervention. Since then, I have been practicing as a BCBA in a clinic setting with early learners.

I passed my board exam a little over 2 years ago, on my first attempt, and after two focused months of studying. My priority was on studying based on what worked best for me, and I'm big on encouraging others to focus on their personal learning style.
