Give Your Child the Gift of Reading with a Fun Tutoring Session!
Hi, I’m Makenna Petrusek. I’m a passionate student at the University of Louisville. I’m 20 years old majoring in political science and have excelled in all my English courses, with my professors using my work as examples. I’ll offer a fun and interaction reading tutoring session for kids aged 5-12, designed to make reading an exciting and enjoyable journey.
Who? First through Sixth Graders who are ready to boost their confidence and excitement for reading!
How? Interactive games, creative reading challenges, and personalized sessions that turn reading into a fun experience your child will love.
Why me? I understand what it feels like to be overwhelmed, frustrated, or even embarrassed when the words on the page just don’t make sense. I used to struggle with reading in grade school..but I found the right tutors and teachers that helped me learn to love reading! So here I am today here to help your child overcome the same struggles. My sessions aren’t designed to be difficult they’re designed to help the child out.
Sessions are just $50/hour! (Can schedule up to 2 hours at a time)
Location: Ekstorme Library (university of Louisville) near the speed art museum (Tuesday, Thursday 3pm-8pm)
Student Activity Center (Monday, Wednesday 5pm-8pm Friday 2:30pm-8pm)
