About Stacy
I'm Stacy and I'm 29 (I know my name isn't the most french but I swear I was born and raised in France).
I grew up in the south of France, near a historical middle-age city : Montpellier. Living in the south gave me the love of outdoor, cultural events and gathering with friends in cafés under the burning sun.
Besides teaching Molière's language, I love doing illustration, going to dance classes and of course because I'm here : traveling.
It was during a long backpacking trip in Asia that I decided I wanted to go back to my teenage dream : teaching french abroad. I flew back to France, started a new Masters Degree in Montpellier University of Languages and arts (Paul Valéry) and I discovered a new world that really gave me interest and passion.
When Covid happened, instead of staying home and complaining about lockdown, I created my own business as a french teacher. I gave online classes with different french schools from around the world and started to understand how to improve my teaching skills day after day.
2022 was a big step, I took my backpack and flew over to Sydney where I'm going to settle for a while. Here, I started teaching onsite with various profiles of learners. That was the best decision I've made. Since then I work for well reputed schools such as Alliance Française or The french Spot, public schools and I gave several private tuitions.
I'm subscribing on Superprof to have the opportunity to meet even more students and spread my love for french culture.

I've been teaching in various situations : from all levels (A1 to C2) to all ages (kids, teens, adults). I've done private tuitions, group classes, online classes, conversation classes, phonetic classes and cultural workshops. My experience was mainly in small schools back in France or abroad with Alliance Française (Chicago, Sydney, Baltimore, Bordeaux, Accra).
My method is based on communication exercises, role play, games, cultural conversations... But also more traditional grammar & phonetic notions.
I usually do 1-2 hour(s) for online classes
2 hours for onsite classes (in my place in Annandale/rozelle bay, at yours or in a cafe : extra charges could be applied if I have to do more than 25 minutes to meet you)
I can host small conversation classes in my place in Annandale (2-4 people : the price is 120$ for the whole group)
