About Tiarna
I am a university student who loves learning, helping others out and has always wanted to go into teaching.
I want to teach because I understand how stressful exams and certain topics can feel, and I know how much of a difference clear, patient support can make. I find it rewarding to help students improve their understanding, build confidence, and reach their academic goals.
I also understand how challenging it can be to learn with attention or focus difficulties, and this has influenced my patient, structured, multi-technique teaching style and focus on clear, step-by-step explanations.

I use a clear, structured and patient approach, breaking down complex topics into simple, manageable steps. I focus on understanding rather than memorisation, and place strong emphasis on exam technique, question practice, and active recall. Lessons are adapted to each student’s learning style and goals.
1 hour is the typical length of each session (can be adjusted to 45 minutes or 90 minutes depending on student needs, at no extra charge).
I am currently studying Biomedical Sciences at university. I have A-Levels in Psychology (B), Sociology (B), and Biology (C), and strong GCSE results including English Language, Maths, Geography, and Religious Studies (all grade 7). This gives me up-to-date subject knowledge and recent exam experience.
I can teach primary, KS3, GCSE, and A-Level students. I support learners who want to improve understanding, build confidence, and strengthen exam performance across science and humanities subjects.
