About Nethaya
As a dedicated and approachable tutor, I create a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow. Currently studying Biomedical Science I bring a passion for learning and mentorship. With experience teaching students aged 4–17 in both academic and cultural subjects, I adapt my teaching style to suit individual needs—whether that’s simplifying complex material, providing exam-focused guidance, or boosting subject confidence. I hold experience in a wide range of teaching areas such as STEM subjects, dance, and religious studies. My lessons are typically one hour long and are structured, engaging, and results-driven. Whether you're looking to strengthen foundational knowledge or excel in exams, I’m here to guide you every step of the way with professionalism and care.

My approach to tutoring is centred around building confidence through clarity and active engagement. I use a mix of visual aids, practice questions, and simplified explanations to break down complex concepts, tailoring each lesson to the student’s individual learning style. I encourage open dialogue so students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their critical thinking skills. A typical lesson lasts around 60 minutes and is structured to include a review of prior content, new topic introduction, interactive practice, and a brief recap to consolidate understanding. I have experience tutoring GCSE students and I am fully qualified to tutor students at GCSE level.
