About Luli
Hi, I am Luli, a 23-year-old Biomedical Science and Neuroscience graduate from the University of Edinburgh. Science has been a passion of mine since school and I genuinely believe that biology, taught well, is one of the most fascinating subjects a student can study.
I am currently working in London as a nanny before starting a role in the health sector in September. I find real satisfaction in helping someone have that moment where a concept they have been struggling with suddenly clicks.
I believe learning should be engaging and enjoyable, not a source of stress and I work hard to make my lessons feel that way. Whether you are building foundations at GCSE or pushing for top marks at A-Level, I will meet you where you are, work at your pace and make sure you leave every lesson feeling more confident than when you arrived.

My approach is student-led. I start by understanding exactly where a student is struggling, whether that is grasping a concept for the first time, consolidating knowledge before an exam or building confidence in applying scientific thinking to unfamiliar questions. From there I build lessons around their specific needs rather than working through a generic syllabus top to bottom. Every student learns differently and I take time early on to understand whether someone grasps concepts best through visual diagrams, verbal explanation or hands-on application. Once I know how a student thinks, I tailor my teaching style accordingly rather than delivering the same lesson the same way to everyone. I use clear visual explanations, real-world examples and plenty of practice questions, because understanding why something works is always more effective than memorising what it is.
Lessons typically run for one hour and can be delivered online or in person in London. I am comfortable teaching across all major A-Level and GCSE Biology specifications including AQA, OCR and Edexcel.
I have previous experience as a teaching assistant working directly with younger students in a classroom environment, and I have spent several years translating complex scientific literature into accessible, practical guidance for non-specialist audiences in a professional research context, a skill that transfers directly into tutoring.
These lessons are suitable for GCSE students looking to build confidence and secure strong grades and A-Level students aiming for top marks or preparing for university-level science. I am particularly well placed to support students with ambitions in medicine, biomedical science, neuroscience or any health-related degree, having navigated that path myself.
