About Nicola
I have always loved and excelled at maths, getting very high scores at school. I have previously worked as a gymnastics coach so I know how to communicate well with kids. I like teaching and have tutored various subjects before. I have recently moved to Brisbane to attend UQ and have provisional entry into medicine.

Just like with my gymnastics background I like to let kids attempt the math problem or ‘gymnastics skill’ then if they need assistance I will step in and help. In gymnastics this is called ‘spotting’ and all I do is assist the student in completing their move until they can do it themselves. This is my same approach to tutoring.
