About Alexandra
Hi! I’m a Biomedical Science graduate from QUT, with dual majors in Anatomy and Biochemistry, and I’m currently completing my Honors year at UQ.
Tutoring played an important role in helping me get through high school, so I understand firsthand how valuable the right support can be. I know that sometimes a concept just needs to be explained differently for it to click, and I want to provide students with that same encouragement and support.
I’m passionate about science and education and genuinely enjoy helping students understand challenging topics, build confidence and reach their academic goals. I take a friendly, patient and personalized approach, creating a comfortable environment where students can ask questions and learn without feeling pressured.
I look forward to helping you feel more confident in your studies!

My Chemistry and Science lessons are personalized, supportive and focused on helping students genuinely understand the material rather than simply memorizing it.
I break down challenging concepts into clear, manageable steps and use worked examples, diagrams and practice questions to suit each student’s learning style. I adapt each lesson to the student’s current level, whether they need help with a specific topic, catching up on content, preparing for an assessment or building stronger foundations.
I can also create personalized study and revision plans, provide feedback on assessments and help students develop effective study and exam techniques.
My goal is to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and building confidence in their abilities. Lessons are typically 60 minutes and are available for primary and high school students.
