About Arden
I’m a Biology tutor with over 9 years of experience and an MSc in Environmental Biology. My expertise lies in pharmacology and understanding how drugs interact with biological systems. I enjoy guiding students through the science behind drug action and the processes that make modern medicine possible. I teach core topics such as drug mechanisms, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics with clarity and purpose. Whether it’s absorption, distribution, metabolism, or excretion, I break down each concept into simple, manageable steps. I use diagrams, analogies, and real-world applications to support deeper learning. One of my favourite ways to teach is through case studies in drug development. These practical examples help students understand how theoretical knowledge is applied in real research and clinical settings. I also focus on how drugs affect different organ systems and how body responses can vary. My lessons are structured to build confidence while encouraging critical thinking. I work closely with each student, helping them connect biology to healthcare and therapeutic science. I’m especially effective in supporting Regulatory Experts and Chemical Engineers who want to deepen their knowledge of plant systems. My sessions help them connect biology with policy, industry, or innovation. We explore how plant science applies to environmental regulations, product development, and agriculture. Lessons are interactive and thoughtful, focused on building both understanding and appreciation. I create a space where questions are welcome and curiosity leads the way.
