About Maris
I hold an MSc in Biology with nine years of teaching experience across high school and university levels. My teaching style emphasizes clarity, engagement, and real-world relevance, making complex biological concepts accessible and meaningful. I focus on conceptual understanding, using diagrams, models, experiments, and visualizations to help students connect theory with living systems around them.
Students develop strong analytical reasoning, scientific thinking, and problem-solving skills as they explore topics such as cell biology, genetics, ecology, evolution, and human physiology. My Biology lessons begin with foundational concepts such as cell structure, biomolecules, genetics, ecology, and evolution. I cover advanced areas including human physiology, microbiology, biotechnology, and molecular biology using diagrams, experiments, simulations, and visual explanations. Students learn how biological systems function and how different processes are interconnected.
