About Amrita
My journey into biology began with fascination for how living organisms maintain balance and adapt to their environment. I completed a B.Sc in Life Sciences, where I studied genetics, physiology, ecology, and molecular biology. Over 9 years of teaching, I have helped students develop clarity by focusing on connections rather than isolated facts. I approach teaching with patience and encouragement. I adapt explanations to suit each learner’s pace and understanding, ensuring they feel supported throughout the learning process. Questions and discussion are always welcomed. Beyond teaching, I stay engaged with biology through reading research updates and exploring new educational tools. These experiences enrich my lessons and keep them current. Teaching biology is rewarding because I witness students gain confidence as they begin to truly understand how life functions at different levels.

Biology feels less overwhelming when students understand how individual processes connect to form living systems. My lessons focus on helping learners see relationships between cells, tissues, organs, and ecosystems through structured explanation and visual reasoning. Topics such as cell biology, genetics, physiology, and ecology are introduced step by step so students can build understanding without relying on memorization alone. Each lesson encourages curiosity and thoughtful questioning.
For beginners, lessons emphasize foundational concepts like cell structure, biological molecules, and basic metabolic processes. Intermediate learners explore genetics, enzyme activity, human physiology, and ecological interactions. Advanced learners refine data interpretation, experimental reasoning, and exam-focused answers.
