About Isla
I completed a B.Sc in Life Sciences followed by an M.Sc in Molecular Biology, which deepened my understanding of both foundational and advanced biological concepts. Over 11 years of teaching experience, I have helped students develop clarity, curiosity, and confidence in biology through structured and supportive instruction. My teaching philosophy centres on patience and adaptability. I believe students learn best when concepts are explained visually and logically, with room for discussion and questions. I tailor lessons to individual learning styles and academic goals. Outside teaching, I stay connected to biology through scientific reading and ongoing learning. This allows me to bring fresh perspectives into lessons. Teaching biology is meaningful to me because it helps students understand life processes and develop lasting scientific curiosity.
