About Maeve
My journey into biology began with curiosity about how the human body maintains balance, how genes shape organisms, and how life adapts across environments. This passion led me to complete a B.Sc in Biological Research followed by an M.Sc in Human Physiology, where I studied genetics, cellular mechanisms, and advanced biological systems. Over 9 years of teaching experience, I have guided students through biology with patience, clarity, and strong academic support.
I believe biology should be taught through connection and understanding rather than memorization alone. My teaching style focuses on making lessons calm, encouraging, and structured, where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas deeply. I use diagrams, storytelling, and exam practice to help learners see both the details and the bigger picture. Many students improve quickly once they realize biology is a subject they can truly understand step by step.
Outside tutoring, I remain engaged with biology through reading scientific research and exploring modern health and genetic discoveries. Teaching biology is rewarding because I witness students transform confusion into confidence and curiosity about life itself.

Biology becomes truly fascinating when students see it as the science that explains life, from the smallest cell to the complexity of the human body and the diversity of ecosystems. In my lessons, I guide learners through cell biology, genetics, respiration, immunity, evolution, ecology, and body systems in a way that feels clear, connected, and engaging. I focus on helping students understand how biological processes work together rather than memorizing isolated facts. Lessons include diagrams, real-world examples, and supportive explanation that builds confidence and deeper understanding.
Each session is tailored to the learner’s academic stage. Beginners explore the foundations of cells, tissues, organs, and basic life processes through structured guidance and visual learning. Intermediate learners strengthen understanding of inheritance, digestion, circulation, plant biology, and exam-focused application. Advanced students work on molecular genetics, biotechnology, extended-response writing, and integrating complex biological systems. Every lesson includes practice questions, review, and feedback that helps learners improve steadily.
Biology lessons also help students develop curiosity, observation, and appreciation for how living systems function so beautifully.
