About Helena
I am a Biology tutor with over 4 years of experience and an MRes in Biology. My passion lies in exploring neurobiology and the fascinating intricacies of the brain. I specialize in guiding students through neural networks, synaptic plasticity, sensation, and perception. I make complex concepts in neuroscience accessible and engaging. My expertise includes understanding cognitive processes, neurological disorders, and research methods in neuroscience. I enjoy working with psychology majors, aspiring neuroscientists, and curious learners from all backgrounds. My teaching blends deep scientific knowledge with practical insights. My teaching approach is relaxed, engaging, and deeply application-focused. I connect biology concepts to real-world innovations, making learning meaningful and inspiring.
