About Omar
I've worked as a teacher's assistant in both lab and class environments on subjects including genetics, molecular biology, and general biology. As a PhD in biology, I have a deep understanding of the current state of the field. I also believe I do a good job of helping people understand material depending on the needs of the individual that I am teaching.

I have a PhD in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. I am an expert in the fields of genetics and molecular biology. I have 5 years of teaching experience through working as a teacher's assistant during my PhD. I am open to teaching students at both the high school and college level.
