About Hannah
I’m a student at Manchester university looking to do some tutoring as a part time way to earn money during uni. I’m also keen to help fellow students who are in the position I was in a few years ago to achieve their goals, hopefully by contributing tips I used myself. I’d tutor in a laidback, friendly way; I would just be here to be a helping hand and a fellow student rather than a strict teacher.

I’m happy to look at past exam papers in order to identify the areas a student is struggling to grasp, and then help to try and approach these parts of the syllabus in a different way. I focus on the importance of understanding something properly at the point of learning to enable a rational approach to problem solving questions rather than on memorisation of facts. I find diagrams a particularly helpful way to achieve this as in my own education I have always found that being able to visualise something enables you to understand it, but textbooks often simply lack the relevant images for visual learners to do this.
