About Lucy
I am a Secondary Science teacher specialising in Biology and Chemistry and have recently returned to teaching from maternity leave. I have a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Teaching (both from Monash University). I have experience in mentoring students in study skills and building excellent revision habits in my students. I also provide pastoral care and can help students structure their homework around cocurricular commitments.

My pedagogy is largely influenced by the Gradual Release model, which aims to guide students through new skills by first demonstrating it to them, doing it with them, helping them to do it themselves, and then letting them do it independently.
