About Emily
Feedback starts with the smell of dry erase markers on a whiteboard while we map out a complex food web. I provide weekly practice questions with feedback to measure your progress.
My 2 years of experience guide this pacing. We look at the nervous system closely.
Then we track the energy flow in photosynthesis and respiration. Mastery of mitosis and meiosis is vital for your success. I bring my Stanford medical training to every explanation.
You will improve your exam technique. Your goals remain the primary focus of our work.

Being in my final year at the Stanford School of Medicine often reminds me of the long nights spent mastering biology foundations. I feel that my 85 students taught have provided a unique window into where typical learners struggle with concepts like the nervous system or microbiology. Holding a Doctor of Medicine degree from Stanford School of Medicine means I can connect cellular processes to clinical reality for my college freshmen and AP Biology students.
I find it very satisfying to see homeschoolers and GCSE students grasp the scientific method after months of feeling lost. The joy in this work comes from the moment a complex system like the circulatory system or photosynthesis finally makes sense to a student. My background allows me to simplify intricate pathways during our discussions. I truly enjoy the process of turning confusion into competence.
