I'm here to help you succeed in science. As a Biology Professor, I remember what it was like to be a student, and I’m here to help bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be. I'm familiar with a variety of learning styles and will work with you to find strategies that make science enjoyable and easier to grasp. I'll also help you identify key concepts that are important for future science courses and even a scientific career. As a biology instructor at the collegiate level I have experience working one on one with students and I know what your teachers/professors are thinking (because I am one).
I can reexplain complicated subjects from different perspectives fostering understanding in broad concepts. I work with students using repeated active recall techniques to prepare them for exams.
Sessions range from 30 minute homework help to 2 hour study. I tutor from high school science to introductory college biology.
I want every student to know that learning is not all about grades, but I am here to make your grade reflect the effort you are putting in. You deserve that A, 100%, or 5 on the AP exam.
