About Alexis
Hello! My name is Alexis, and I'm a recent graduate from the University of Waterloo. I graduated with honours biology with a specialization in animal physiology, and a minor in psychology.
I enjoy educating others on biology, and understand that it's not intuitive to everyone. If your child is planning on attending univeristy and has any concerns, I can also assist in answering questions they may have about university.

I have a hands on approach with tutoring, and prefer a visualization method. I believe that there is a misconception that biology is all memorization - in reality, learning the basics and breaking complicated concepts down will greatly improve upon general learning.
I have experience working with children and teens ages 6-18, and can help with any science pre highschool. For high school level, I specialize in biology, but may be able to assist in some chemistry if needed.
