Hi, I'm Piyali.
My journey into Genetics didn't begin in a laboratory—it began with a simple question that many people ask: "Can our DNA really tell us something about our health?"
The more I explored the field of genomics and preventive healthcare, the more fascinated I became. What started as curiosity soon turned into a profession, and before I knew it, I was spending my days discussing genes, DNA reports, inherited traits, and the future of personalized healthcare.
One funny thing I've noticed is that when people hear the word "Genetics," they often imagine a complicated subject filled with impossible terms and diagrams. A few conversations later, they're discussing DNA markers and hereditary traits as comfortably as they talk about cricket scores or their favorite movies!
That's exactly how I teach. I believe Biology is not a subject to be memorized—it's a story waiting to be understood. Every gene has a story, every cell has a purpose, and every concept becomes easier when connected to real life.
In my classes, you'll learn not only the science behind life but also how rapidly this field is evolving.
