About Taylor
Hi, I'm Taylor! I'm a quality scientist with a Bachelor's degree in Biology, a background in Chemistry, and a Master's degree in Medical Sciences.
After completing my master's degree, I spent a year working as a graduate teaching assistant, supporting master's-level students in Anatomy, Physiology, and Histology, as well as briefly in Microbiology. This experience allowed me to strengthen my teaching skills and develop a passion for helping students understand challenging scientific concepts.
I later transitioned into my current role as a quality scientist, where I apply scientific knowledge and analytical skills in a professional laboratory setting. My combined experience in education and the scientific industry allows me to bring both academic knowledge and practical perspectives to my tutoring sessions.
I enjoy connecting complex scientific topics to real-world situations and everyday experiences, making the material more relatable and easier to understand.
I strive to create a welcoming, supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their abilities. My goal is to help students develop a deeper understanding of science and the skills they need to succeed academically.

My tutoring approach focuses on breaking down complex science concepts into clear, manageable explanations. I enjoy connecting scientific principles to real-world situations and everyday life experiences, making the material more relatable and easier to understand. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor each session to their individual needs and learning style.
A typical lesson begins with identifying areas where the student needs additional support. From there, we review key concepts, work through practice questions, and apply what we've learned to reinforce understanding. I also incorporate study strategies and exam preparation techniques to help students succeed beyond our sessions.
With my educational background in Biology, Chemistry, and Medical Sciences, along with my experience as a graduate teaching assistant in Anatomy and Physiology, I bring both subject knowledge and teaching experience to every lesson. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing a deeper understanding of the material rather than simply memorizing information.
