About Emma
I have a passion for teaching and supporting students within their learning, and noticed huge improvements with the individuals that I have supported.
I started working in a school when I was 16, at an afterschool daycare and saw my confidence growing. After finishing my A-Levels, I received an offer from the school to be trained as a Teaching Assistant and I was more than happy to accept. That decision has allowed me to develop skills that have allowed me to grow, not only as an educator but as a person as well.
As a dyslexic student myself, I have struggled in the past, but have developed techniques to help me achieve results that I am proud of. I hope to help you achieve this goal as well!

I am an engaged and motivating teacher, supporting the individual needs of the student. I understand that the textbook way of learning may not always be the answer and am willing to learn the needs of the student to best support their learning.
My lessons can range from 30 mins to 1 hour 30 mins and I am confident in supporting all primary school subjects, GCSE maths, Chemistry and Biology and A-Level Biology. I am confident working in person or online as well
I have strong experience working with SEN students from ages 2-11 and am confident in being able to support all needs within an education setting.
I have been working in Primary Schools for 6 years, 3 of these as a Teaching Assistant. During my GCSEs I received an 8 in Biology, and 7s in Maths and Chemistry. At A-levels, I got a B in Biology and Chemistry. I am currently studying Biology at an Undergraduate Level
