Biological Sciences (Microbiology and Biochemistry) student with a special focus on antimicrobial resistance. Have taught in Spain. Excited to teach GCSE students and help them develop confidence.

Shaz and I were fellow students undertaking a BSc Biological Sciences degree. She was my student representative and now my great friend, always very friendly and professional. We were also in the same tutor group, therefore we collaborated on multiple assessments. She was very helpful to me in both science and English as I am an international student. In addition, we both worked as student mentors at the university. She is very proactive and hard working as during her studies she studied Spanish and Mandarin. Moreover, she was a facilitator of a 12-week mental health and well-being course. Finally, she undertook multiple international and uk based placements including class room assistant in Spain, clinical microbiology placement in Uganda and cancer research placement in London.
