About Mahima
For the past 5 years I have tutored students from year 5 to A-levels. I have tutored students for the 11+ exam and they have all gotten into their chosen grammar school. With GCSE and A-levels all the students improved their grade by understanding concepts and not just memorising them which also caused a positive impact for further study.

The basis of my teaching is to improve fundamental concepts in the subject which will then in turn improve the understanding of questions so you are not just memorising an answer for one question. A typical tutor session would include going over work previously done, so to learn where the mistakes come from and why they are made, the majority of time would be working together through concepts and then questions and then after the session a few questions for "homework" to solidify your knowledge and understanding. It is also possible that after a few sessions a mini test can be given to practice under time constraint and without notes in an exam environment.

Mahima helped me to do great at chemistry A-level where I was failing before. She helped me to get the concepts and I was able to implement it onto any question which gave me confidence so I was in a better mindset. Would highly recommend!
Mahima tutored my son in maths from GCSE to A-level, improving his grade at GCSE from a C to an A. An excellent, fun, kind and reliable tutor.
