About Grant Maloy

I've written hundreds of songs, including radio hits on the Americana and Folk charts, for many years. I know how to craft a song and tell a story in music.... to create that experience where melody and words combine to create something greater than the sum of the parts.

About the lesson

First we analyze the songs that the student has already written. This is important input for ME so that I know where they are coming from. Then we analyze great songs, and the student's favorites from other writers, and make a plan for how to get them from where they ARE to where they WANT TO BE.
